พระราชาทักทาย เป็นการให้ชื่อเลียนพระราชามอญ ทากายุตปิ (Takayutpi) และอัศวิน 2 คน ผู้จงรักภัคดี ในเรื่อง สอบินยา (Saw Binnya) พระราชาเมืองเมาะตะมะ นำดาบหักมาให้พระราชาทักทายโดยฝาก ตุนตุน (Tun Tun) ไว้ และเรื่องราวก็ได้เริ่มขึ้น จนกระทั่งอัศวินทั้งสองผิดใจกัน

อัศวิน 2 คนนี้มาจากไหน?
ใครที่อ่านพงศาวดารพม่าแล้วพอจำได้ ก็จะทราบว่า ทากายุตปิ หรือกษัตริย์เมืองหงสาวดี มีทหารเอกผู้คุ้มครองเมืองอยู่ 2 คน ทำให้รอดจากกองทัพของพระเจ้าตะเบงชะเวตี้มาถึง 3 ครั้ง และครั้งที่ 4 เมืองหงสาวดีก็ถูกกองทัพของพระเจ้าตะเบงชะเวตี้ตีได้สำเร็จ เนื่องมาจากทหารเอกทั้งสองถูกฆ่า โดยจดหมายลวง แบบเดียวกับเรื่องโจโฉแตกทัพเรือ ที่พระเจ้าตะเบงชะเวตี้เขียนคือ “ถ้าคราวนี้กระทำการสำเร็จ จะให้คนหนึ่งครองเมืองหงสาวดีและอีกคนครองเมืองเมาะตะมะ” เมื่อทากายุตปิพบจดหมายนี้ก็เชื่อทันทีว่าทหารเอกของตนคบคิดกับตะเบงชะเวตี้ จึงประหารทหารทั้งสองนั้น

เรื่อง ทักทายกับ 2 อัศวิน (Tuskty & 2 Knights) เป็นผลงานหนังสือเด็ก ของ สว อิเฎล (The Sw Eden) ศิลปินชาวไทยที่หลงไหลเรื่องราวของตะเบงชะเวตี้มาหลายปีแล้ว โดยทั่วไปหนังสือทักทายจะมีเนื้อเรื่องเกี่ยวกับสัตว์ ทั่วไปจะมีทักทายเพียงคนเดียวที่เป็นคน แต่เมื่อได้รับทุนสนับสนุนจาก L.P.N. Development เรื่องแรกที่ส่งไปคือ ทักทายกับแมวโทน ซึ่งได้รับ comment มาว่า คราวหน้าอยากให้เป็นเรื่องระหว่างคนกับคน ทำให้ สว อิเฎล จึงหยิบส่วนหนึ่งของงานเขียนนวนิยายเรื่องยาวมาปรับให้เหมาะสำหรับเด็ก มีข้อคิดด้านความสามัคคีและความไว้วางใจซึ่งกันและกัน อันนำมาซึ่งความสุขในชุมชนและประเทศชาติ

(Tuskty & 2 Knights)

“King Tuskty” is the caricature name of Takayutpi by the Thai artist, The Sw Eden (สว อิเฎล). He had 2 royalists, Tun Tun and Aung Aung, the knights. In this story, Saw Binnya, the King from Martaban brought the broken sword to give to King Tuskty. Tun Tun took the sword from Saw Binnya and the story was begun.

Who are these 2 knights?
If you have read the burmese annal, you would know that the King Takayutpi of Hanthawaddy Pegu had 2 knights. Tabinshwehti, the king of Taungoo attacked Hanthawaddy for 3 times and he could not beat it because of these 2 knights. Tabinshwehti disired to wrote the letter pretending that these 2 knights were with his side, similar to the letter of Zhou Yu in Romance of the Three Kingdoms which he could make Cao Cao believe that Cao Cao’s soldiers were rebel. After then the King Takayutpi executed his 2 knights, and the forth battle, Tabinshwehti could beat Hanthawaddy Pegu.

Tuskty & 2 Knights is the children book created by The Sw Eden (สว อิเฎล). The Sw Eden have loved Tabinshwehti and his brave story for more than 10 years. Regulary, The Sw Eden always wrote Tuskty book about Tuskty and animals, but after the book of Tuskty and Solitary Cat which was supported by L.P.N. Development, L.P.N. Development asked The Sw Eden to make the next stories to be about human and human. Then, The Sw Eden used the plot of Black Tongue epic, The Sw Eden’s own fiction and made it short and adapted it to be the story for children which had the moral about the unity in the community and in the country.
