Floating market and riverside market can result in the greater income of local people in Thailand. They are also an active economic system of Thai traditional and ancient culture protection and restore. Hence, scholars and government should identify and prove the strategies in order to support this local economic system.
The major earning that local people and folks could be from the visitors, both for Thai visitors and foreign visitors, depending on the site or location of the markets. Therefore, the communication scholars should understand the problems of communication between the hawkers and the visitors and solve such the problem.
The language difference is a great part of communication problem or conflict. I would like to do something to solve such the problem. However, it is important to note that the process of the current study cannot be completely complete, due to COVID-19 crisis, that many tourist attractions had to temporarily shut down. In fact, the researcher planned to collect the data again after the first treatment, but the process cannot be done. The researcher had to change the planned procedure, from the behavioral intention to be the perceived benefit of the service, pinning location of the shop in Google Maps.
Although many shops did not require food menu and did not directly received the benefit from this project due to COVID-19, I still need to contribute to floating market in the near future, and also need to complete all the step written on research proposal. Finally, I would like to thank for all supports and I also would like to cheer the local business to be able to stand and continue again. I will certainly contribute to the floating market or riverside market as soon as possible. I think this blog post might help something. I will rewrite this and put this into the research report, too.
It is important to note that I wrote and posted this article in this webpage before I put everything together and submitted to the university. In other words, I owned the copyrights of this article or blog post, and later, I reused this copyrighted material in the research report. Similarly, I wrote an article for a conference in Phayao, and later, I used the article for the research report. That also means, I owned the copyrighted material before reusing it again in the research report.
