I just answered a few questions in DeviantArt today, and I think it is a good idea to share my thought here, too.
1. Have you celebrated Pride before?
I celebrated Pride in my artwork. This piece, I made for the next year. I just planned to show it on my Facebook next year. I lived in Thailand, and a side of ribbon is Thai flag.
2. What do you think of first when you think of Pride?
I was in a group of gay teens when I was in somewhat middle school year. If people just start talking about Pride in public place, it will make me miss my old-time friends.
3. How do you show support for LGBTQ+ people you know?
I wrote some papers for them. I am a little Asian one traveling around small countries in South East Asia. People here did not write much paper about this topic, so I need to make it better. So, I did it, I wrote it. You may check it out.
However, if you guys notice some of my artwork. The theme seems like I discriminated against LGBT. For me, it is like when the feminist director created a film. S/he made the whole society in the fictional story prejudiced and looked down on women. BUT! what is it for? It is about to make the audiences understand the stage of being discriminated.
I also encourage my colleagues to write some blogs for me about gay men. However, they are in Thai language. You may not be able to read unless you use translating software.
One response to “How did I support Pride LGBT? I am in Thailand.”
