Preface

อาจารย์พราวได้อธิบายรายละเอียดของ Job Description ไปแล้ว และดูเหมือนว่า Job Description จะมีประโยชน์มากหรือมีข้อดีต่อองค์กร อย่างไรก็ตาม Job Description ก็ยังมีข้อเสีย ซึ่งอาจารย์พราวจะสรุปให้ทราบด้านล่างนี้

The Meaning of Job Description

Job Description is a written narrative about an organizational position consisted job overview, main tasks, job identification, job purpose, department role, organizational position, job scope, required qualification and associated responsibilities.

ข้อดีของ Job Description JD
(Advantage of Job Description)

According to the definition of Job Description given by lect. Proud, we can see many advantages getting from Job Description, for example.
จากความหมายที่อาจารย์พราวอธิบายเกี่ยวกับ Job Description เห็นได้ว่ามีประโยชน์หลายอย่าง ได้แก่

1.ด้านบริหารทั่วไป (General management)

JD helps an organization knows the overlapped jobs, the duplicated job in the whole pictures; therefore the organization can reduce personnel cost or reduce some functions until some department.
– รู้ว่างานใดซ้ำซ้อน เพื่อลดงานซ้ำที่ไม่จำเป็น
– เป็นการควบคุมภายในที่ดี พนักงานไม่สามารถปกปิดความลับทั่วไปได้

ข้อเสียของ Job Description
Disadvantages of Job Description

1.Not flexible in Job (ไม่ยีดหยุ่น)

Employee will follow his JD and some may not do any other functions just want to follow what stated in his JD.
พนักงานจะทำตาม JD ของตนอย่างเดียว

2.Extra work

Filling JD form or create one takes time, especially one who is not cleverer to do.
การทำ JD เป็นงานหนักและเพิ่มงาน

3.Reduce employee’s talent

Employee is afraid to do anything against the JD but follow JD for his day-today Job
พนักงานกลัวที่จะคิดอะไรใหม่ ๆ เพราะจะกลายเป็นไม่ทำตาม JD

4.Reduce Helps

Some will do only their JD and don’t want to help or corporation other.
ต่างคนต่างทำงานตาม JD ของตนจนไม่ช่วยเหลือกัน

5.Out of date (เก่า)

When technology changed, JD is not easily changed and is difficult to revise.
เมื่อเทคโนโลยีเปลี่ยน ไม่ง่ายที่จะเปลี่ยน JD เพราะเป็นแบฟอร์มแบบเดียวที่ใช้ทุกหน่วยงาน

Although there are both advantage and disadvantage of Job Description, lect. Proud see that the benefit are bigger than the impact from disadvantage.
