I am glad for many women that got a chance to work in very good organization with gender equality. I am feminist. I know there are so many private organizations in Thailand run by Thai women and feminist men. Please do not hate me because of my identity. We got nothing against men, but patriarchy. And today, I am going to talk about the patriarchy in an organization.

Lately, during the COVID-19 outbreak, I had a chance to visit some social network groups that empowered me. And then, yeah, a comment, Do you think it’s suck to be in the organization that the corporate board was full of men? And the only women who were promoted to be in the board, were those with secret affair with the male executive.

Many things I found in the group told me that I am not alone. I am not only person living in this imperfect world. All people with any gender should get equal chance to be promoted, regarding their honesty and excellence, and regardless the gender, age, or race.

My world will never be just like I have dreamed. Even I tried hard, I still got discouraged from the system and the people who had power to control the system. I had lived like that for many years. Work, work, and work. It is too much for me. On the other hand, people who allowed themselves to be in the ugly system got promoted very quickly without working so hard.

I love the equality. I hate both men and women with dishonesty. I hate all unjust actions and unjust outcome. And finally, I lost the war. The war in my own mind. I feel I cannot live in this unjust world. I have to step out without any power to stay or to fix it to be right.
