Almost all schools’ policy I know do not really include the Copyright law for the students to follow in order to graduate. Students who do their thesis or portfolios should credit all information their get from other resources. Prof. Thomas Rochon is Sw Eden’s current Environ Site Plan instructor. I really appreciate that he always warns all the student to credit every information correctly. For example, I redrew the zoning map of NYC.Gov by coloring all the area. It totally looks like a new map, and the right thing to do is to credit the original resource I got.

Prof. Thomas Rochon and his students visited Central Park, NYC as an outdoor studying.

For other classes which are not art/architecture/literature, the professors do not really care about the Copyrights. Maybe, they do not really live with it. In the literature class, if we just borrow a sentence from 3-inches book, we need to credit where it was from. I said that because some kids understand that it has to be 10%, then they will credit.
Sw Eden just entered a school club video contest last month, and the winner was announced in this afternoon. The reason that I decided to join this contest was I wanted to show my artwork, since the professor said that all videos would be showed as a museum style. I also asked if I could not use the music which I did not own a copyright. He is judge, and he said that would not be allowed. Today, I was very shocked when I watched the video of the winner. The video included a song of Cobra Starship, ‘Good Girls Go Bad’ without any credit. I accept that many other songs might be Creative Commons, but there are still some photos from Google search which no one could know if they are copyrighted images. I am not jealous, because I do not really need their present, but it is not fair for people who are not thieves.

Many creators do not know how to fight back the thieves. For example many copyright articles got copied on the blogs, and those blogs got more views than the original posts, because they just put all awesome things they stole in the same place.
So a good way to solve this problem is create an ideal user since he was young. And it should be by the school. All the school, primary, secondary, high school until the college should be serious about Copyright work students use. they should also protect the copyright work students make, too, such the artwork shown in Open House day,
“Dear all the excellent Creators in this Ugly Planet:
Our work got stolen by many thieves. If they do not pay us the money, they should just give us the credit. If everyone kept stealing other people’s work, no one would want to create a new thing anymore.
~Sw Eden”

All the students in the class should own the copyright together for this big project for whole class.
