X ตอนปลาย ( ๑๙๙๒ – ๑๙๙๗ )

วันเดียวกันนั้น Heath ได้เข้ามาอยู่ใน X Japan อย่างสมบูรณ์ เดือนตุลาคม ออก Live Concert ครั้งแรกของ Heath ให้ชื่อว่า ‘ Extasy Summit ‘ 92 ‘ แล้ววันที่ 21 เดือนนั้นอีกเช่นเคย Toshi ออก Single Made in Heaven เป็นงานเดี่ยวชิ้นแรกของเขา ( เป็นเพลงแนว slow pop อาจจัดเป็น industrial ก็ได้ ) และเดือนต่อมาก็ออก Album ‘ Made in Heaven ‘ อีก ทาง X ก็ออก VDO ” Hametsu – Nimukatte – Visual Shock Vol. 4 ”

ปีต่อมา X ออก VDO Mima – Mumei – Datta, Dakedo..mukei – Datta – Extasy Summit ‘ 92 วันที่ 25 สิงหาคมอีกแล้ว งานของ X ชิ้นแรกที่มี Heath ก็โผล่ออกมา เป็น Single เพลง Art of Life ถ้าสังเกตดูจะ ไม่ค่อยได้ยินเสียง Bass เดือนตุลาคมออก Single Tears แต่ดันติดอันดับ 1 ของผลโวท เดือนพฤศจิกายนออก X Singles Yoshiki เป็นคนเลือกเองว่าจะมีเพลงอะไรบ้าง ซึ่งทุกเพลงยกเว้น Joker เป็นเพลงที่เขาแต่งเอง และเวลาทำ Live ก็เช่นกัน เขามักจะเลือกเพลงที่เขาแต่งมาเล่น จนเพลงของเขาดัง

วันที่ 4 ของเดือนนั้น Pata ก็ออก Single ” Pata ” 2 วันสุดท้ายของสิ้นปี ทำ Live Take ของ X Japan ที่ Tokyo Dome ปี 1994 ไทจิเป็นมือ Bass ของวง Loudness เต็มตัว แต่เขาก็ไม่ชอบอีก วงนี้ชอบเปลี่ยนสมาชิกเรื่อย ๆ อยู่ทุกปี และเป็นที่นิยมของชาวต่างชาติ ทาง Hide ก็ออก Single “DICE” เดือนต่อมาก็ออกอลบัม “HIDE YOUR FACE” เดือนต่อมา Hide ออก Single “TELL ME” เดือนต่อมาอีก Pata ออก Single “PATA’ S BOOTLEG” เดือน 7 วันที่ 10 ออก Single “Rusty Nail” ได้อันดับ 1 ของผลโวท 2 เดือน ต่อมา Pata ออก Single “Fly Away” และ 2 วันก่อนสิ้นปีอีกเช่นเคย มี Live ที่ Tokyo Dome อีกเช่นเคย ชื่อว่า “Blue Night , White Night”

ปี 1995 VDO X’ s Clips ได้ออกพร้อมกับ Single “Hametsu – Ni – Mukatte – 1992.1.7” ที่เล่นที่ Tokyo Dome ฮิเดะแกก็คิดถึงไทจิอีกแล้ว แกจึงไปตามหาไทจิและได้พบไทจิ ก่อนที่ไทจิจะออกจากวง Loudness วันที่ 21 มกราคม Pata ออก “Single On Me” Heath เอาบ้าง แกก็เลยทำอลบัม “HEATH” ออกในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ต่อมาไม่นาน Pata ก็ออก Single “Rised on Rock” วันที่ 1 เดือน 8 X ก็ออก Single “Longing – Togireta Melody” ติดอันดับ 1 เช่นเคย วันที่ 29 พฤศจิกายน เริ่ม Dahlia Tour ข้ามปี เดือนธันวาคมออก Single “Longing – Longing Night” เป็นการ Promote เพลงนี้อย่างรุนแรง ทั้ง 2 วันสุดท้ายของปีนั้น มี Live Take ที่ Tokyo Dome เหมือนเดิม มีการนำเนื้อเพลงนี้มาอ่านเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ใช้เล่นทุกงาน ทำให้เพลงโด่งดัง

ปีต่อมา เดือนกุมภาพันธ์วันที่ 26 ได้ออก Single “Dahlia” ติดอันดับ 1 อีกแล้ว งานชิ่นนี้ถือเป็นการพัฒนาครั้งยิ่งใหญ่ แต่ยังคงแนวเดิมคือ Melodic Metal วันที่ 22 พฤษภาคม Hide ออก Single “Lemoned” และเดือนต่อมา ฮิเหลก็ออก Single “Misery” วันที่ 8 เดือน 7 Single Forever Love ก็ออก เป็นการเล่นด้วยเปียโนเป็นส่วนใหญ่ ติดอันดับ 1 อีกแล้ว เดือน 8 วันแม่ (ของประเทศไทย) Hide ออก Single “Beauty and Stupid” วันที่ 26 เดือนสิงหาคมมีการออก Single “Crucify My Love” ได้ผลโวทอันดับ 2 Hide ก็ออก ชื่ออลบัม “PSYENCE” เป็นการรวมเพลงของ Single ก่อนหน้านี้ วันที่ 7 เดือนต่อมา Heath ออก Single “Mekyou No Lover” วันที่ 4 เดือนต่อมาออกอลบัม “Dahlia” อีก 4 วันต่อมาออก Single “Scar” อีกแล้ว ” B.O.X. ” ( Best of X ) ออกวางขายที่อเมริกาด้วย ส่วนใหญ่ก็เพลงที่ Yoshiki แต่งอีกนั่นแหละ กลางเดือนฮิเดะออก Single ” HIHO / GOOD-BYE ” และวันสุดท้ายของปีอีกเช่นเคย สถานที่เดิม เมื่อจบการทัวร์ Dahlia ข่าวลือว่า น้องชายของ Toshi ซึ่งเห็นโทษของหัวหน้าวงของ X Japan ว่าเห็นแกเงิน ก็พยายามบอกให้ Toshi ออกจากวง

ปีต่อมา วันที่ 1 มกราคม อีกแล้ว “DAHLIA THE VIDEO – VISUAL SHOCK VOL.5 PART 1” Heath ออก Single “TRAITOR” และเดือนต่อมานั่นเองได้ทำ “DAHLIA THE VIDEO – VISUAL SHOCK VOL.5 PART 2” ฮิเดะออก Single “Tune – Up” เมื่อเดือน ตุลาคม ได้ไปหา Live เก่า ๆ มารวมเป็นอลบัม “Live Live Live” ต่อมาก็จบการทัวร์ของ Dahlia ที่ยืดเยื้อมาจากปี 1996 และได้ทำอลบัม “Live Live Live Extra” Toshi ได้ออกอลบัม “Natural High” วันที่ 19 ธันวาคมมี Ballad Collection ออกมา ซึ่งทำให้เราสามารถทราบได้ว่าทำไมในอลบัม Dahlia จึงมี Ballad เยอะมาก ก็แค่ให้อลบัมนี้เต็ม วันเดียวกันนั้นก็ออก Single “Forever Love Last Mix” ใช้กีตาร์แทนเปียโน (และเปลี่ยนมาเป็นคีย์ C) วันที่ 25 ธันวาคม วันแห่งการออกทั้ง Single ทั้ง Album อาทิ “Box Single Box” , “Box Special Box Set”, “Dahlia LP”, “Single – Atlantic Years” วันที่ 31 ธันวาคม ไม่ต้องบอกว่าที่ไหน มีการทำ Last Live ไม่ค่อยสนุกเท่าไหร่

ปี 1998 วันที่ 21 มกราคม Yoshiki ออก Single “The Last Song” และ Live ของเพลง Art of Life เวลาผ่านไป หลังจาก Hide ทำวง Spred Braver ซึ่งมี Pata เป็น temporary guitarist รวมสมาชิก 7 คน ไม่นับ Pata

หลังจากข่าวฮิเดะฆ่าตัวตายในวันที่ 2 พฤษภา ไม่นาน ไทจิจึงปรากฎตัว และแก้ตัวว่าฮิเดะไม่ได้ฆ่าตัวตาย เขามาตั้งกลุ่ม D.T.R. Group ออกแสดงตาม Cafe ตอนกลางคืน

วันที่ 7 เดือน 5 หลังจากการตายของฮิเดะ 5 วัน สมาชิกคนอื่นในวงได้มาร้องเพลง Scars และ Forever Love พร้อมกัน โดยในเพลง Forever Love เป็นบรรเลงเปียโนกับขับร้อง บางข่าวกล่าวว่า ที่จริง X Japan จะกลับมารวมตัวกันตั้งวงใหม่ แต่พอฮิเดะตาย เลยไม่ได้ทำ

ปี 1999 วันที่ 30 เดือนมกราคม Yoshiki ออกอลบัม “X Japan Star Box” วันที่ 24 เดือนกุมภาพันธ์ออก “X Perfect Best” และออก VDO “The Last Live”

ปี 2000 หลังจาก Yoshiki กลับมาจาก America ก็รีบวิ่งมาที่ Tokyo Dome ทำ “The Last Live” เป็นครั้งสุดท้ายซึ่ง Heath กับ Pata มาถึงก่อน ทีแรก Yoshiki คิดว่ามาไม่ทันจึงไม่กะจะมา แต่พอรู้ข่าวว่าไทจิจะมา ก็เลยมาด้วย ไทจิเป็นคนเดียวใน X ที่ได้นำเพลงของ X ที่ตนแต่งไปใช้เป็นเพลงของ D.T.R. Group

ปลายปี 2002 Yoshiki ให้เปิด Website ให้โวทเพลงของ X ที่แฟน ๆ ชอบ และยังมีขายแว่นตา X Japan ซึ่งมีให้เลือกตาม style ของนักดนตรีแต่ละคน

Visual Kei Cosplay in Thailand

The events/meetings of Visual Kei fans in Thailand are always at MBK Center (Mahboonkrong or มาบุญครอง) every month. MBK is a famous shopping center which has a big space for meeting at the corner of the street. It is near Siam Center, just across the street. You can just imagine of Thai girls dress as Harajuku people. People around the world know that Thai girls are very pretty, so what they will look like, … the prettiest one you saw in Japanese. No lie.

Some Visual Kei bands are so famous in groups of rich teenagers in Thailand, and a lot of Japanese animas do, too. These fans pay a lot of money for their costumes which they wear only in one day. Dir en Grey, Gazette, Miyavi (ex- Dué le Quartz) and D’espairs Ray are very famous currently. Although Malice Mizer is something old, but people always love to dress like them. Mana’s lip is very attractive and unique.

Nongnut is one of classmates in high school. She got asked to dress with a white-fur costumn, because it was not fit in her friend’s body. Her group liked Hyde, L’Arc~en~Ciel so much. She gave me her drawing of Hyde, and I still keep it. Hyde is considered as the best guy in L’Arc en Ciel. He is who you should talk with and have as a friend.

Right now, let’s cross the street to Siam Center. Several buildings have small rooms for rent. Most of those rooms are for rent. Many teachers rent them and their students have to pay a lot of money to take extra classes. It sounds mean that those teachers do not teach everything they know in the school, because they need more money. Visual Kei fans also rent the rooms, too. They use it for the meeting within their own group for each band. X Japan fans liked to eat some spicy things together. Some big fans of Visual Kei also buy many CD and DVD from Japan and sale them in this place. Most of the discs are second hand, because they already watched them. I walked up and looked around in the latest time I visited Siam Center. A group of teenatures with dark-eyes-make-up watched Yoshiki played his piano.

I know an event that X Japan fans usually do in May 2nd of every year. They will meet at MBK or Siam Center and have some party. They will take a bus or train to Hua Lamphong Temple, which is one of the best place to do Coffin-Offerings. They donate money for the corpses who do not have coffin. They hope all merit to go for Hideto Matsumoto (Hide or 秀人松本), their hero.

I do not usually dress as Visual Kei, but I do dress for Halloween. I had got a reward for the scariest dress. Sometimes, I dressed not for the contest. My close friend and I painted ourselves and walk around our high school. Halloween is my most favorite day of the year. So now, let’s go to class!

การตายของ ฮิเดะ The Death of Hideto Matsumoto

กล่าวถึงการแสดงความเศร้าหลาย ๆ วิธีตอนที่ Hideto Matsumoto แขวนคอตัวเอง
คนเขียนเขียนว่า พวกผู้ปกครองเด็ก ๆ ไม่รู้จักแกหรอก แต่ โด่งดังในกลุ่มวัยรุ่น ผมของแกมีสีแดงสว่าง กะ เหลือง ตั้งสู่อากาศ การแต่งหน้าของเขาทำให้เหมือน Dennis Rodman (อย่า search เชียวนะ) ตอนหน้าตาสะอาดสดใสหน่อย ทางแฟน ๆ ทั้งหลายที่มาเสียใจ ก็ผมสีนี้มากมาย เป็นการเพิ่มจำนวนนักเรียนทำผิดกฎโรงเรียนมากขึ้น

ลักษณะของแก ไม่เหมือนกับวัยรุ่นทั่วไป ต้องการดูแตกต่าง แต่ก็ยังไม่ออกจากกลุ่ม แม้ว่าผมของแกจะตั้ง และทำเพลง rock ขนาดไหน แกก็ยังทำกุศล จ่ายเงินทุนโครงการรักษามะเร็งกระดูก อะไรสักอย่าง (bone marrow cancer treatment ไขกระดูมั้ง เท่าที่จำได้)

สาว ๆ หลายคน คิดผิด และพยายามฆ่าตัวตายตามในสัปดาห์เดียวกัน และ 4 คนที่เหลือในวงอะไรสักวง รีบออกมาแก้ปัญหา เพื่อให้แฟน ๆ ยังเข้มแข็ง (จำได้ว่าวงแกน่าจะเหลือ 6 คนน้า) มาสาวน้อยคนหนึ่งใส่เสื้อยืดมีเชื่อของ นาย Matsumoto แล้วกระโดลงมาจากสะพาน ยังไม่รู้สึกตัว และอีก 3 คน ดับไปแล้ว ยังมีเด็กน้อยอายุ 14 ปี พยายามแขวนคอตัวเองตาม fashion และก็มาตาย เพราะพายามแขวนอีกเป็นครั้งต่อไป ผู้ปกครองของเธอบอกว่าเธอตกใจมากเมื่อรู้ว่าการตายของมือกีตาร์

คนญี่ปุ่นก็เป็นแบบนี้มานานแล้ว และมีมาเรื่อย ๆ 2-3 ปีครั้ง ที่ฆ่าตัวตายตามดารานักร้องคนโปรด คนญี่ปุ่นเกือบ 40 คนฆ่าตัวตามในปี 1986 หลังจากนักร้องวัย 18 ปีที่พวกเขาชอบกระโดดลงมาจาก Tokyo office building

Kazuko Ishiwata ผู้ปกครองของแฟนของมือกีตาร์คนนั้น ได้ยืนอยู่ที่งานศพด้วย เพราะว่ากังวน เขาต้องการมั่นใจว่าลูกสาวของเขากลับบ้าน (ไม่ไปดับที่อื่น)

ตำรวจที่ไม่รู้จัก Hide หลายกองถูกเรียกมาให้มาอยู่ในพวกคนร้องไห้ด้วย โทรทัศน์แสดงภาพการโปรยพรมดอกไม้ของแฟน ๆ

สาวรุ่นคนหนึ่งบอก NHK News คืนนี้ว่า เมื่อเธอมีปัญหา และได้ฟังเพลงของมือกีต้าร์คนนั้น ทำให้เธอรู้สึกมีพลัง

มีอีกคนที่ยืนห่างออกไปมากกว่าไมล์ บอกว่า Hide อาจเหมือนพวกมนุษย์หัวดื้อสังคม แต่แกเป็นพี่ที่ไว้ใจได้ของเธอ

She was a Myanmar Queen around 500 years ago. My drawing is her ideal persona of my view. She was more bold and sexy than in the history book. I wrote the biography of Tabinshwehti the 2nd king of Myanmar who was her husband. I began to write it as poetry when I was 7 grade student or around 10 years old, and I finished it in the following year. All are about fun things in palace and fun things in wars. Just in the last part of the poem that Tabinshwehti got killed, that is the sad part that I cried for when I wrote. I also composed 3-4 songs about this stories. They have been my favorite until now.

X ตอนกลาง ( ๑๙๘๙ – ๑๙๙๒ )

Extasy Records มีการกำหนดสัญลักษณ์ขึ้น พวกคุณทุกคนคงรู้จักกันดี ปี ๑๙๘๙ นี้เอง เดือนเมษายน วันที่ ๒๑ มีการออกอลบัม Blue Blood เดือนมิถุนายน ได้ออก MV ชุด Bakuhatsu – Sunzen – GIG วันแรกเดือนกันยายน ออกซิงเกิ้ล Kurenai ผลโวทได้อันดับที่ 5 ของสัปดาห์แรก ต่อมาได้นึกย้อนไปถึงสมัยเก่าก่อนซึ่งอลบัม Vanishing Vision เคยออกเป็น cassette ก็เอามาทำเป็น Audio CD พอต้นเดือนธันวาคม ได้ทำการทัวร์ Live ในหัวข้อ ” Rose & Blood Tour ” การเริ่มของ Live ครั้งนี้ เอาผ้าขาวบาง ๆ ปิดทั้งเวที แล้วปล่อยลงมา ดูแล้วบ้าดี เมื่อวันนั้นเองก็ออกซิงเกิ้ล Endless Rain ได้ที่ 3 ของผลโวท และมีการออก VIDEO Shigeki Visual Shock Vol. 2

ปีต่อมา ปี 1991 เริ่มมีอะไรบางสิ่งบางอย่างเกิดขึ้น ครึ่งปีแรกดำเนินไปด้วยความสงบหากดูแต่ภายนอก เมื่อเริ่มครึ่งปีหลัง วันแรกของเดือน 7 อลบัม Jealousy ได้ติดอันดับของผลโวท เมื่ออกอลบัมสิ่งที่ตามมาก็คือการทำ Live ในเดือนสิงหาคม โดยให้ชื่อว่า “Violence in Jealous Tour – Yume – No – Naka – Dakemi – Ikete” วันที่ 11 เดือนกันยายน ออกซิงเกิ้ล Silence Jealousy ได้อันดับ 3 อีกแล้ว ถ้าใครเคยดู MV จะเห็น Yoshiki แช่น้ำทั้งเรื่อง วันเดียวกันนั้นเองก็ออก video ที่ออกทัวร์ไปเมื่อเดือนสิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา เดือนตุลาคม ทำ Live Concert ที่ Power Station Shinjuku เดือนตุลาคม วันที่ 25 ออกซิงเกิ้ล Standing Sex มีเพียง Joker อยู่ด้วย ฮิเดะเพิ่งไปทะเลกลับมา วันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน เสร็จจากทัวร์ วันที่ 1 ธันวาคม ออกซิงเกิ้ล Say Anything ได้อันดับ 3 ของผลโวท และเพื่อนของเขา Tetsuya Komuro ได้ออกอลบัมคู่กับเขาภายใต้คำว่า Virginity ( V2 ) มีแต่ดีดเปียโน และวันสุดท้ายของปีนั้น Heath และ Pata เดินจูงมือกันจะไปทำ Live Take ตามหลังของสมาชิกทุกคนในวงเพื่อฉลองงาน Count Down ที่ Rogumei – Kan Meguro ถือว่าเป็นการปรากฏตัวครั้งแรกของ Heath แสดงว่ามีการเตรียมเปลี่ยนสมาชิกวงแล้ว

ปี 1992 ผลสืบเนื่องมาจากปี 1991 ไทจิ เกิดความเห็นไม่ลงรอยกับโยชิกิ และเขาบอกว่าเขาต้องการอยู่วง heavy metal แท้ ๆ Heath ต้องไปเรียนรู้ที่หลังเวทีทุกงานในช่วงนั้น Live Concert ที่โตเกียวโดม 3 วันในเดือนมกราคมของปีนั้น โดยให้ชื่อว่า ” Hametsu – Ni – Mukatte ” เป็น Live สุดท้ายที่ ไทจิ แสดงให้ X เป็นช่วงที่ X เริ่มเปลี่ยนแนวการแต่งตัว

จนกระทั่งวันที่ 31 ของเดือนนั้นเอง Yoshiki ออกปากไล่ไทจิ และเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้ ข้าพเจ้าไปอ่านเจอ ไม่ทราบว่าจริงหรือไม่ ไทจิแสดงอาการไม่ยอม Yoshiki ก็เลยควักเงินออกจากกระเป๋า และโยนใส่หน้าเขา ไทจิก็ปัดทิ้ง เขาไม่รับเงินใด ๆ ทั้งสิ้นจาก Yoshiki และก็มีสมาชิกในวงที่แอบเห็นเหตุการณ์ด้วยคือ Toshi และ Hide ซึ่งก็ดึงตัว Taiji ไปพูดข้างหลังไม่ให้ Yoshiki รู้ และคยั้นคยอให้ไทจิรับเงินของพวกเขาทั้งสองไป ทาง Heath ถือเป็นงานหนักของเขามาก เพราะ ไทจิ มือเบสรุ่นพี่ เก่งกว่าตนมาก เดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ออก VDO Unrivald is ” Extasy – Extasy Summit ‘ 91 – Nippon Budokan ” เมื่อวันที่ 25 เดือนสิงหาคม X ได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น X Japan เพราะชื่อไปซ้ำกับ American Band วงหนึ่ง ทีแรกเรียกว่า X from Japan ปัจจุบัน วง X วงนั้น ได้แตกไปแล้ว

X ตอนต้น ( ๑๙๘๒ – ๑๙๘๘ )

ในสมัยที่ โยชิกิ กับ โทชิ ยังเรียนอยู่ชั้นมัธยม เขาได้ตั้งวงดนตรีด้วยกัน สมัยนั้นยังไม่ได้มีชื่อว่า X แต่เพลงก็ดีพอสมควร จึงมีการ์ตูนเรื่องหนึ่งมาของซื้อ ลิขสิทธิ์ ไปเป็นเพลงของ title จากนั้นเมื่อ ปี ๑๙๘๒ หลังจากที่เด็กนักเรียนจบใหม่ จำนวน ๒ คน จาก ตาเตยาม่า จังหวัดจิบะ ได้ตั้งวงดนตรีที่มีชื่อว่า เอ็กซ์ โดยให้โยชิกิผู้มีคะแนนต่ำเป็นหัวหน้าวง ส่วนโทชิผู้มีคะแนนสูงกลับไม่ได้เป็น แต่เขาก็เป็นนักร้องผู้มีความสำคัญต่อวงมาก

ปี ๑๙๘๕ ในวงสามารถรวบรวมสมาชิกได้ ๕ คน คือ โยชิกิ ทำหน้าที่เป็นมือกลอง, โทชิ ทำหน้าที่เป็น นักร้องนำ, ยูจิ ทำหน้าที่เป็น lead guitarist , โทโมะ ทำหน้าที่เป็น rythms guitarist และโทคูโอะทำหน้าที่เป็นมือเบส ทำให้วงสามารถมีการออกซิงเกิลแรกได้คือ ‘ I’ll kill you ‘ และ อลบัมแรก คือ HEAVY METAL FORCE มีการวางขายเพียง ๑๐๐ ก็อปปี้เท่านั้น เนื่องจากมีฐานะเป็นเพียงวงใต้ดินวงหนึ่ง ถ้าใครเป็นแฟนเพลงตัวจริง ก็ลองเดินทางไปฮองกง แล้วหาซื้อของ copy เถื่อนเอาเอง และ Album นี้ไม่มีทำขายเป็น CD ด้วย

ต้นปี ๑๙๘๖ มารดาของโยชิกิเชื่อมั่นในตัวบุตรชายว่าจะประสพน์ความสำเร็จ จึงตัดสินใจขายธุรกิจของครอบครัว เพื่อนำเงินมาให้โยชิกิดำเนินงานได้ ดังนั้นโยชิกิจึงสามารถยกระดับวง X ให้สูงขึ้นโดยตั้งบริษัทบันทึกเสียงภายใต้นามว่า extasy records และให้ตัวเขาเองเป็นกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ หรือนัยว่าเป็นเจ้าของนั่นเอง ตอนต้นของ extasy records มีวง X เพียงวงเดียวเท่านั้น จุดนี้ถือว่ามีความเสียงสูงมากทีเดียว ระหว่างนั้นสมาชิกในวงก็มีการเปลี่ยนคือ มือกีตาร์เหลือเพียงคนเดียว คือ จุน, มือเบสเปลี่ยนเป็น ฮิคารุ และในกลางปีนั้นเองก็มีการออกซิงเกิลชุด Orgasm

เดือนกุมภาพันธ์ในปีต่อมา สมาชิกในวงเหลือจำนวนสามคน เพราะว่าฮิคารุออกจากวงไป โยชิกิจึงตามหามือเบสคนใหม่ และ โยชิกิได้ไปชวนมือเบสจากคลับท้องถิ่นที่ชื่อ ไทจิ มาเป็นมือกีตาร์ของวง แต่อันที่จริง ไทจิคือมือเบสที่หลายคนยอมรับกันว่าเป็นมือเบสที่ดีที่สุดก็ว่าได้ มือเบสด้วยกันจะยกย่องไทจิเช่นนี้ด้วย อีกทั้งเขายังเป็นมือเบสขวัญใจของมือเบสในวงการ J – Rock รุ่นใหม่อีกหลายต่อหลายคน บางคนที่เป็นศิลปินส์ในวงการ J- Rock ในสมัยที่เรียกว่ากึ่งเก่าและใหม่ จะชื่นชอบบิดาของเขา หลังจากนั้นจุนก็ลาออกจากวง มือกีต้าร์คนใหม่คือ อิซาโอะ ต่อมาไม่นาน การแข่งขันกับวง J – Rock ในรุ่นเดียวกันก็จบลง เมื่อวง SABER TIGER ได้แยกวง ซึ่ง SABER TIGER ถือว่าเป็นวง Rock ที่มีความโด่งดังมากกว่า X หลายเท่า โยชิกิมีความสุขได้ในระดับหนึ่ง และเขาก็คิดถึงหัวหน้าวง SABER TIGER ขึ้น ก่อนที่เขาคนนั้นจะตัดสินใจไปทำอาชีพเสริมสวย เนื่องจากประชดสมาชิกคนหนึ่งในวงที่ชื่อว่า ทัตสึ โยชิกิได้โทรศัพท์ไปชักชวนเขาให้มาเป็นมือกีตาร์วง X ถือว่าการตอบตกลงของหัวหน้าวง SABER TIGER ในวันนั้น คือวันกำหนดประวัติศาสตร์ J – Rock ที่สำคัญมากทีเดียว ฮิเดะ หรือที่หลายคนรู้จักกันในนามของ พระเจ้าแห่ง J – Rock ได้มาเป็นมือกีตาร์ในวง X ต่อมาอิซาโอะได้ออกจากวง ทำให้พาตะกลายมาเป็นมือกีตาร์อีกคน โดยตกลงให้ฮิเดะเป็น main

ปี ๑๙๘๘ เดือนเมษายน วันที่ ๑๔ ได้ออก cassette ในนามของ Vanishing Vision เป็นเพลงที่จัดอยู่ในประเภท indies กึ่ง heavy metal มีการนำเพลง I’ll kill you มารวมอยู่ด้วย เพลง ในอลบัมนี้สามารถสื่อได้ในมุมของตัวโยชิกิเอง จำนวนที่วางขายมี ๑๐,๐๐๐ ก๊อปปี้ และหมดภายใน ๑ สัปดาห์ เมื่อเดือนพฤษภาคมมาถึง เป็นสัญญาณบอกว่า วงนี้มีชื่อเสียงขึ้นมาแล้ว โดยมีวง Ladies Room และ Zi:Kill มาเซ็นสัญญา เพื่อใช้บริการ extasy records ในการออกอลบัม ปลายปีนั้นเอง ทางวงได้มีการทำตราสัญลักษณ์ที่เรารูจักกันดี เพื่อใส่ลงใน วิวทีทัศน์ ชุด tokyo pop ถือเป็นการยกระดับวงให้เป็นที่รู้จักในอเมริกาในช่วงแรก แม้จะไม่มาก เพราะได้แค่เป็นอันดับที่ ๒๐ เท่านั้น และเวลาในการแนะนำวงที่มีให้ โยชิกิ และ ฮิเดะก็มีน้อย เรื่องบริษัท extasy ทาง Yoshiki ได้ซื้อห้องบันทึกเสียงต่อจาก Madonna ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ที่ LA

(Before reading this blog, I just want you to know ‘that bunch of the bands in LA’ are not more than 10 bands and more than half of them are not always in LA, but they are friends together with those LA bands.)

Sw Eden said, “Hideto Matsumoto is not such a really good guitarist. He also chose wrong place to play music, and he ended his musician wonderful life in that place.”

My words seem like Hideto Matsumoto is the suckest guy, but he is actually not. Although he is not the best guitarist, he is the greatest artist in the world. His artworks are not painting or drawing, they are dressing, composing, the movie and the music video making. These are all incredible, especially in that era. Many people do not look at him at this point. Nowadays, if you watch a famous music video or listen to famous alternative songs, you can be sure that Hide’s work is not far from those stuff. His ideas are so modern and real creative. He is the first guy who made many many things in the world as you can see them via his music videos and his shows.

Hide’s stuff got copy without people who know. I do not care if most of us know that some artists copied him. I appreciate when some bands’ music was inspired by his music. But I hate the copy and I hate it so much if the fans of those bands who copied Hide, do not know who Hide is, and do not know that that stuff was from Hide’s idea.

These are the bad results after he started his music career in Los Angeles. For me, I can say that he committed suicide half of his everlasting life there. He is the talented guy and too great to be in those group of musicians in LA. I did not blame Zilch, but I blame a bunch of the bands that I do not want to name them here. Those bands are so stupid in many people’s eyes (as we can see in comments at blabbermouth.net) and that was real. Those bands always exchange their members among their group. It was like a group of ***** in the same small hole and they did not know what was going on outside. Their music was not so good, and they totally play it the same in every song, and those are no creative. Hide became one of those people when he joined Zilch at LA although he is the super genius. Zilch was not bad, but the bands who had gig with them were.

In short term, Hide might choose the right place. Many bands can grow up very fast and become famous there, LA, but not the most famous. This is because many artists around the United States like to visit and attend their shows. Hide is not so popular in US if comparing with the rock bands in US itself. When other artists came to see his gig with those bands, I talked about, at first before listen to his music or watch his show, I believe, more than half of them looked down him. For some famous mean artists came to see his gig and copied his stuff.

In long term, if Hide wants to be famous and I am sure he wants, he should come to Illinois or New York (maybe, Florida, but not so good as Illinois and New York). It is very hard to be well-known at the first time, but for the smart and intelligent guy as him, he can be famous just take a little longer time than in LA. I can say most bands in these two states are really different grade from the group of those bands in LA. If you find out the alternative rock songs which are on the billboard, they are not so different from Hide’s alternative rock songs. (I said just alternative rock songs, not all things on billboard.) With his really great and wonderful ability, his songs can be on the billboard very easily.

In fact, God gave him a limited time, just 33 years on earth, but his name and his work can stay much more longer and unlimited. I imagined if he was very famous in the United States as I said, his name could stand stronger than it is right now, and he could go further than where he is right now, too.
